Michael Germano | AIA NCARB
Architect, Managing Principal
Full-time architect, part-time tinkerer, Michael grew up in Cary, NC where his fascination with buildings began at a young age while creating masterpieces in blocks. Prior to becoming an architect, Michael spent several years working on construction sites assembling the designs of others. These experiences helped shape the architect that he is today. Studying sustainability and design, first at Appalachian State University, then at the University of Florida G|SoA CityLab program, he developed a passion for sustainability and innovative construction technologies. Before starting GAi, Michael worked with several award-winning design firms on a variety of project types, including multi-family, community, retail, residential, manufacturing, and internationally recognized design-build projects. Michael is a problem solver, and enjoys the process of architecture.
