Michael Germano | AIA NCARB
Full-time architect, part-time tinkerer, Michael grew up in Cary, NC where his fascination with buildings began at a young age while creating masterpieces in blocks. Prior to becoming an architect, Michael spent several years working on construction sites assembling the designs of others. These experiences helped shape the architect that he is today. Studying sustainability and design, first at Appalachian State University, then at the University of Florida G|SoA CityLab program, he developed a passion for sustainability and innovative construction technologies. Before starting g|a+i, Michael worked with several award-winning design firms on a variety of project types, including multi-family, community, retail, residential, manufacturing, and internationally recognized design-build projects. Michael is a problem solver, and enjoys the process of architecture.
Kacie Germano | NCIDQ
Kacie is a native of Florida, growing up in Melbourne, which is just south of Kennedy Space Center. She earned a B.S. in Interior Design from Florida State University in 2010. Before starting with g|a+i, she worked in numerous market sectors, some of which include custom homes to commercial office fit-out and large scale manufacturing facilities. Her love of design stems from always being fascinated by jigsaw puzzles. Each and every piece is different and unique on its own, but when placed together, creates a beautiful work of art. This is also true of design; each and every project creates an opportunity to bring just a little bit more beauty to the world.
